CMEC is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to improve the quality of production, inspection, and testing of construction materials through its Accreditation, Education and Certification programs. Established in 1983, CMEC has evolved into a complete source in construction materials testing for laboratory accreditation, proficiency sampling, technician certification and education.
Enter 2010 Proficiency Sample Results On-Line
This year we have expanded on the ability for laboratories to automatically update and view their information. In the left side title bar, there is an option for entering in your 2010 proficiency sample results. Choosing this option will require that you enter your Company ID Number and set up a User Name. The information you will enter has been limited to the test results and some additional information we are attempting to gather for comparison purposes. Please fill out as much of the information as possible and try not to leave any blanks. Please select or enter N/A in fields that do not apply to your specific sample result. If you do not know your Company ID Number, Please call CMEC at 407-628-3682. |

Take a CTQP Written Exam ANYTIME! |

Now you can take a CTQP written exam for any of the CTQP programs that CMEC offers, on your schedule. CMEC is now offering CTQP written exams at its headquarters in Orlando. Simply make an appointment for a private exam sitting, Monday through Friday. Written exams or re-test written exams are available for Asphalt programs, Concrete Field Inspector Specification. 2009 Proficiency Sample Results |

The results of the 2009 Proficiency Samples have now been posted on the CMEC website. The following is required if your laboratory is accredited with CMEC:
The laboratory shall, within 30 calendar days of the date of issuance of the proficiency sample report, (1) investigate to determine the reason(s) for the poor results, (2) record and report to CMEC the results of the investigation and any corrective actions taken, and (3) maintain records of the investigation and corrective actions taken. If the laboratory cannot correct the nonconformity and respond within the 30 day time period, written notification must be sent and approved by CMEC allowing the response time to be extended to 60 days.
